2016/03/18 Mentor-Mentee Symposium

(1)What do you want the AI things(computer, robot)to do for you most?

(2)Do you think of any controversy may caused by AI programs or automation processes in the near future? Why it concerns us?

(3)If all programable jobs are done by AI robots one day, what will you choose to be? Or, how will you enjoy your life?

(4)How can you distinguish a human being and a smart robot in disguise?

隨著科技進步,也許人類在未來真的會面臨這個問題,而你的回答是什麼呢?

緊接著迎接我們今天的第一位講者Peter帶來他知識性與故事性兼具的演講“Under Armour" Makes Sports Professional。"When you think about sport brands, which one comes to your mind?

Grammar

  • advice[uncountable]->one piece of advice, ? pieces of advice
  • suggestion[countable]
  • Always be aware of a word’s lexical category while using it.
  • When you’re going to say a sentence, be careful to the tense you use.

Other

  • When you are a speaker, making your eyes off the script can make you look more sincere.
  • Greeting : Nice to meet you, audience.
  • When Variety Session master want members to form groups->

       (1)Let’s put 4 or 5 people in a group.

(2)Let’s divide the audience into groups of 4 or 5.

最後最後,融匯整場社課的精華—General Evaluation來囉! 今天為我們講評的是Jimmy Guo :

Good points

  • Sharing the award and honor of club members can be an encouragement and role model to other members.
  • The role play of TMEs made new members remember every position in meetings.

Suggestions

  • Whether to use microphone while talking on stage depend on the speaker’s original volume. Always make sure that people in the back can also hear the voice.
  • Officers are suggested to chat with guests during intermission to let them feel they’re welcome.
  • The Mentor-Mentee Symposium will be better and have more fun if there are some games between the new comers and the mentors.
