2015/10/16 Theme Meeting #1

這次的網誌是要分享10/16的Theme Meeting唷~

Theme Meeting跟一般Meeting不同的地方在於,Theme Meeting是用一個主題作為活動包裝,而這次的主題就是高中的回憶,大家都重新穿上高中的制服(OS:小編的制服穿不下了Q_Q),回味高中的那段瘋狂。

首先登場的是今晚的TME──Peggy與David Hu。由David扮演數學老師與Peggy扮演學生,為整場Meeting帶來好笑不冷場的串場,也貼近這次Meeting的主題,帶大家重溫高中的那段老師與學生相處的時光。

Variety Session由David Ku主持的「High School Memories」。在這個活動中,以小組討論並上台分享的方式,大家分享自己高中時戀愛與告白,以及瘋狂生活的點滴,讓大家重新回想起高中的那段青春,在Variety Session的問題單的邊框上,還有各個高中的校徽呢!

再來是Prepared Speech的部分,第一場是Tara帶來的自我介紹「The One and The Only」。Tara先介紹自己名字的由來,並提到後來出道、跟自己同名的韓國團體T-ara帶來的困擾;接著Tata介紹了自己從國小到大學的學校都在辛亥路上的有趣事實,並且在18歲後獨自前往歐洲旅行5週,並且愛上歐洲文化的經歷。接著還提到自己從小養成的烘焙興趣,也展示了許多自己的成品。最後,Tara闡述未來的規劃,希望能到法國攻讀管理碩士學位以及到藍帶學校學習的目標。I would build up my own brand, leading an extraordinary life, regardless of whether people calling me Tara or T-ara!

接著是Jessica帶來的「Try to be the Sunshine」。Jessica敘述了自己念護理系的初衷,並且分享護理師需要有的人格特質,希望能藉由耐心、細心與正向的能量,讓病人獲得良好的照顧,在結尾時,Jessica拿出太陽與向日葵,希望自己能成為病人的太陽。影片連結如下:

然後是Maggie帶來的「If I Had 2 million dollars, what would I do?」。Maggie在看到台灣的媒體亂象與國外的媒體比較之後,有感而發,希望自己能有錢創立一個網路媒體平台,並且詳述了她要如何分配200萬元的資金在建立這個平台上。影片連結如下:

最後是Harvey的Impromptu Speech。Impromptu Speech是高難度的演講挑戰,在Meeting開始時才給三個題目做選擇,並且在約一小時後就要上台演講。這次Harvey選的題目是「My Favorite Body Part」。Harvey闡述眼睛對他而言是多麼重要,不只是靈魂之窗,也是我們接收外界視覺的重要媒介。才短短一小時左右,就能準備如此精彩的演講,實在非常厲害。影片連結如下:

在下半場的Meeting中,Charlie先帶來Workshop#1:C1 Sppech。C1是新生進來吐司的第一場演講,代表一個全新的開始,以及站上舞台的勇氣。Charlie介紹了C1的主題,以及大致的準備方向,讓新生們能更順利地準備第一場演講。

接著是Individual Evaluation的時間。

首先由Ivan講評Tara的演講,內容如下:

  1. 優點:focus and steady
  2. 建議:try to engage the audience

再來是Howard講評Jessica的演講,內容如下:

  1. 優點:Good structure, simple story to answer the initial question, high mind touch and cute card board
  2. 建議:You can take a look at the script if you forget the part

接著是Claire講評Maggie的演講,內容如下:

  1. 優點:walk around the stage, smile, gesture and clear structure
  2. 建議:move your resolution to the front of your speech, try to make the audience think and engaged

然後是Jason講評Harvey的演講,內容如下:

  1. 優點:amazing performance, confident, really clear key points, extended and further extended key points and using a bottle in the instruction
  2. 建議:Extend your time to wait your audience to response your speech

最後是LE與GE的部分。LE由Minnie Lin擔任,講評內容如下:

  • the most welcome guests(X)→ the most welcome guest(O)
  • Did you told everyone?(X)→ Did you tell everyone?(O)
  • please move yourself(O)
  • Don’t use “In my opinion”
  • Every people(X)→ every person(O)
  • Inspire your potential(X)→Explore your potential(O)

  • Please go up the stage(X)→Please come up to the stage(O)
  • Open your microphone(X)→Turn on your microphone(O)
  • comfort is pronounced ‘furt” not “fort”

GE由Mike Yang擔任,其講評內容如下:

TMEs: Creative ways of guiding the meeting

  • Ah counter: “he” or ”she” can be considered as Ahs
  • First speaker Tara: Great example for a C1 speech
  • Second speaker Jessica: Could introduce more about yourself
  • Third speaker Maggie: Meaningful speech , could take more use of the stage
  • Impromptu speech speaker Harvey : Could use more powerful gestures

Suggestions:

  • The audience could all stand up and give applause to the speaker when a C1 speech is completed
  • Try to use full name of the speakers (including their last name)
  • Try not to repeat the contents of your speech
