2014/12/14 Let’s enjoy our extra meeting!

Dress code –> High school uniform!

Joey ChenClaudia Su~

1. 市長選舉 The mayor election      2. Please vote for me!

3. 參選人 Candidate                           4. Mascot

Constructive political view

Variety SessionLeo

接下來,第一位上台演講的是David Ku 故意的 (XD),他這次C1 speech 的Title 是 “119 In My Life"。

God job, David, for giving us such an interesting speech! You made us laugh ^ ^

Good points:

O – Opening. David created an attractive opening in his speech by asking the audience questions and giving out presents.
M- Movement. David had natural gestures and movements.
G- Good topic choice. Since C1 project is about breaking the ice, David talked about the fire and thus creating an interesting correspondence.

Suggestions:

T – Time control. The opening has taken too much time, making the allocation of the content a little bit disproportionate
M – More introduction about himself.

下一位Speaker 是Ellie Chung, 她這次C1 Speech 的title 是 “A Lesson from the Ball"。

I am stressed out" !

* Great interaction with the audience by asking them questions and having suitable pauses to let the audience response.
* Ellie has a good sense of humor, and successfully makes the audience laugh.
* It is suggested that the speaker could give a more powerful conclusion, or repeat the core value again.
* It would be better if there’s more vocal variety.

“The email sank into oblivion"  — …

“It stood a good chance of v-ing…"

“I plucked up my courage…"

Angelica in TM/ Adventure in TM的縮寫, 是個十分聰明的做法~

C9 Speech – “How To Score 990 in TOEIC Exam"。

  1. Answer each question within 15 mins
  2. Be familiar with the basic economics and finance terms
  3. Review your grammar books in high school

1. Try to move your hand like drawing a small circle slowly instead of keeping it still in the air. Or else, you will look tense.
2. The conclusion part can be more complete. It is suggested that you can restate the importance of TOEIC like the introduction part to create a correspondence.

What is her suggestion?

1. I would suggest you to do something. –> I would suggest you do something.
* A suggest B原動詞

2. At the 19th of December –> On the 19th of December
* On a date

3. Pronunciation:  Snack: [snak]Snake: [sneyk]
4. Franked speaking –> Frankly speaking
5. Desert v.s. dessert:
* Desert: (重音在前) An area that lacks water   沙漠                                                 * Dessert: (重音在後) The sweet snacks that is usually served after the meal.

Congratulations!!! Best IE also goes to Mason’s IE, Claire!!!
